May 5, 2021 - Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals Grants Certificate of Appealability on Federal Habeas Case

May 5, 2021 the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals granted a certificate of appealability on three grounds in Mr. Kent's appeal of his client Troy Curry-Pennamon's federal habeas appeal of his conviction and sentence for attempted murder. The District Court had previously granted habeas relief setting the case for retrial in state court, but had denied relief on the remaining grounds and denied a certificate of appealability on the remaining grounds.
